Of The Land
I am a one woman operation based out of Connecticut, formerly from Los Angeles. I primarily create women's ready to wear clothing by only using natural materials. I have a zero waste design process and work with found materials by upcycling and re-purposing.
I design and create clothing and accessories from start to finish: researching, sketching, pattern making, draping, and sewing. I also do all of my own business marketing and advertising from website to my handmade recycled paper business cards. I work out of my hoke studio in Connecticut which I just moved in from Los Angeles. I sell my work online and I am currently in one retail store, The Workspace Collective. I am a zero waste designer, so I try and incorporate all of the material into my design; any leftover scraps are saved for later projects. I only work with natural materials and like to incorporate textile manipulation like felting, use of rope and other hardware, embroidery and block printing. I also do custom work for clients and performers.
Olderbrother
Olderbrother fuses natural processes with playful spirits to create contemporary classics.
We make clothes for people.
We are the intermix between men/women, play/sophistication, and contemporary/nature-based design.
Our universal garments, tailored to fit men, women and those in-between equally. No gender, gender-neutral, unisex et cetera.
Each naturally hand-dyed garment is subtly unique and completely free of heavy metals, salts, and toxins.
After being loved to death, they can be buried in your backyard to organically decompose.
We work exclusively with eco-conscious textiles that range from small batch organics to renewable plant-based synthetics.
We carefully select our textiles based on quality, environmental impact and social responsibility.
Our garments are cut, sewn and dyed in sunny Los Angeles.

Senza Tempo
Senza Tempo is an American made classically inspired brand that believes that if we want fashion to be sustainable, we must slow down.
Senza Tempo is a classically inspired accessible luxury clothing line made in Los Angeles. Clean lines, timeless styles, the finest fabrics and vintage details characterize our collections of elevated wardrobe essentials. Most fashion companies focus on getting to the next trend. We believe in slow fashion and create versatile, seasonless pieces in timeless styles that are meant to be worn year after year.
Ethical production and fair labor standards aren’t marketing ploys, they are essential as our European style tailoring and quality requires skilled artisans to create the garments. The line is made in the same factory in downtown LA from sampling to production — resulting in a lower carbon footprint and better product.

Sustainable Fashion Network is an international presentation platform and also a network for sustainable fashion design. On www.sustainable-fashion-network.com designers and their collections are presented together on one platform. Like this, it becomes way more easy for potential customers who want to buy sustainable pieces to find sustainable designers. On the other hand, the designers can reach a big amount of potential customers – a win-win situation for both sides.
In the category „Network“ on the website, everybody interested in sustainable fashion can exchange ideas, get tips, discuss or ask questions.
The idea for Sustainable Fashion Network developed during my studies of fashion journalism at AMD Berlin and was honored with the Social Responsibility Award.
